How to calculate the surroundings of the rectangle

It is a geometric shape with four rectangular sides. To calculate the surroundings of the rectangle, we first collect the short edges and then collect the long edges, we collect the sum of the long edge and the short edge with each other to find the entire environment.

Example;

long edge+long edge = Total long edges

Short edge+short edge = Toplak short edges

Total Short Edge+Total Long Edge = The circumference of Rectangles

long edges: 5+5 = 10

short edges: 4+4 = 8

10+8 = 18 is the environment of the rectangle.
