What is Brugada Syndrome

Brugada syndrome is a disease that causes sudden heart deaths related to transmission of electrical stimuli in the heart. Syndrome is most commonly seen in the 20-40 age group. Men are 8 times more common than women. The main feature of the syndrome shows itself with rhythm disorders, palpitations, fainting and sudden death. There is no known reason for the syndrome.
