What is sipsi

It is a Turkish Folk Music Instrument in the Group of Breath Instruments made of thin reed. It is approximately a pen size. It is heard frequently at the opening of lament in Teke region with local music.

The protector in the mouth used when drinking hookah is called sipsi. It is usually used to use plastic because it is cheap. There are also varieties made of stone and wood.
