Why salt is given to sheep

The reason for given salt to the sheep is for easy peeling of the skin after it is cut. Especially when it is cut the next day, sheep is given salt and thirst is provided. Sheep, which cannot be thirsty and drinking water, meets the need for water by converting the oil needs into water. In this way, the skin of the sheep cut due to melting oils is peeled much more easily.
