FIG jam

Fig jam is made in two different types of jam, the first is made of immature figs, and these figs have a different aroma because they have not yet been sweet, and the second type of fig jam is made of mature sweet figs.

fig jam materials:

  • 1 kilo fig
  • 1 kilo of sugar
  • Half Lemon
  • Very small amount of cinnamon

Wash the figs and strain, string the stems in the saucepan so that it remains upstairs. When the fig seizure is finished, pour the sugar on it. Cook the low fireteko until it reaches consistency. Mix slowly to avoid burning, mix too much and disintegrate the figs. When the jam is dark consistency, put the lemon juice on it and cook for another 5 minutes and remove from the stove. Serve after cooling.
